Part of our drive is to be a “one stop shop” for prototyping, design and development and to turn these products round as efficiently as possible. One of the main problems that was identified was the time and cost of custom tooling and bobbins. Our solution was to fully equip a tool room capable of producing custom bobbins, tooling and test fixtures. We installed a 12 station fully automatic CNC vertical milling centre with 4th axis capabilities and a CNC lathe, this coupled with our manual lathe and milling machine give us the flexibility to produce the most complex of tooling solutions in house. In addition to custom tooling and bobbins we can produce virtually any heatsink or fixing that is required for the end product.
